Message from Designated Associate Professor Nambo

I am truly honored to receive this prestigious award. The research theme for which I received the award was the one that I have been working on for 10 years since I arrived at Nagoya University as an assistant professor. During the course of my research, I faced many difficult challenges, and I sometimes felt a great deal of anxiety about the direction of my research. However, I was able to meet many new reactions by believing in our own ideas without giving up. The progress I have made so far is not something that I could do alone, but because of the support of many people. I realize that research is not something that can be done alone, and that it becomes more interesting when you connect with people who share your thoughts. I would like to thank Professor Crudden, the members of the research group, the collaborators, and my family for supporting my research.
